Nedávno jsem začala experimentovat s červenou rtěnkou. Tedy ne přímo s rtěnkou, spíš s výrazným červeným leskem a musím říct, že mne docela baví. Obzvlášť teď na podzim, kdy lidé mají tendeci se halit do ponurých tmavých barev - jako já dnes. No a taková výrazná rtěnka takové smutné barvy hezky prosvítí.

recently I started to experiment with red lipstick. Or to be more accurate with a red lipgloss. And I like it. Especially now during autumn months, when people tend to cover themselves into gloomy dark colors - as same as me today. And I like how the distinctive lipgloss lights ue outfitp.

Také si někdy zálibně prohlížíte partnerovy kravaty a přemýšlíte, jak nosit pánskou kravatu? Zkusila jsem to za Vás :-) Úmyslně v ležérním stylu s rozepnutým límečkem a kravatou uvázanou krátce (pánský dress code naruby ;-) ), přeci jen je pánská kravata trochu širší. Je důležité vyvážit trochu maskulinní vršek něčím ženětějším. Já zvolila upnuté kalhoty s lodičkami. Protože jsem chtěla vyvolat spíš ležérní dojem zvolila jsem bílé lodičky s hrubou podrážkou.

Well I tried it for you :-) I chose the casual styling with unbuttoned collar and shortly tied tie (proper gentleman's dress code upside down ;-) ) as the men's tie is a bit too wide. The masculine upper cloths should be balanced by something more feminine and I chose the skinny jeans and pumps. As I wanted to go for relaxed casual look I wore white pumps with structural sole.

Tyto kraťasy jsem našla mezi starým oblečením, které již nenosím. Akorát že od doby, kdy jsem oblečení odložila na dno skříně se lecos změnilo a já nemohla odolat snaze přijít na to, jak by šlo nosit tyto džínové kraťasy i na podzim. 

I found these denim shorts among an old clothes, which I don't wear anymore. But since I put them on the bottom of the wardrobe a lot has changed and I could not resist the urge to find the way how to wear these shorts in autumn.

Povedlo se mi koupit tuhle supr vestičku, akorát ještě musím vymyslet víc kombinací, jak ji nosit. Původně jsem ji chtěla skombinovat se zebro šaty, to však moc dobře nedopadlo - tím, že je vestička delší a šaty mají vysoký pas, tak byl celý dojem poněkud "krabicový". Uvidím, co to udělá s níž nasazenou sukní. Líbí se Vám tato kombinace?

I bought this great vest, just have to come up with more ideas how to combine it. Originally I planned to wear the vest with the zebra dress, but as the vest is longer and the dress has higher skirt it looked a bit too "squared". Will see how it will look like with lower skirt. So do you like this combination?

I got these trousers by accident – my boyfriend's mother bring them to me when it was hot outside and I was looking for some shorts to work in outside on the garden. She said she doesn't wear them and that I can cut them off. O_O I didn't like this offer much, and when I dress them up I immediately declined it as the trousers seemed very comfortable and I liked the pattern. So finally I have something better than the "shopping" outfit and this time the pictures illustrate the typical Brussels weather in this time - it is raining and raining and it is pretty cold. I admit that I almost froze during that short time without the coat. Anyway I survived and you can check the pictures of the outfit in classy black and white combination.

Pěkný zimní den!

Ja vám nějak nestíhám fotit. Nejdřív to bylo tím, že s nástupem zimy a zkrácením dnů jsem prostě nestíhala fotit, když jsem do práce (stáž) odcházela samozřejmě na poslední chvíly a za šera a vracela se za tmy. A teď je zkouškové a já pro změnu téměř nechodím ven ve snaze se řádně připravit na zkoušky. Ke všemu je tam stejně hrozná zima. To je fakt zváštní věc – 3 °C pod nulou v Bruselu jsou asi tak stejně studené jako -10 °C v Praze. Prý je to vyšší vzdušnou vlhkostí – daň za přímořskou polohu. Ale belgičané jsou na svou lezavou zimu zvyklí. Je pravda, že když jim vyprávím, že v Čechách máme v zimě běžně víc jak - 10°C pod nulou, tak se upřímně děsí. Na druhou stranu je pravda, že zatímco já se halím do zimních kabátů a neobuji si boty, které sahají níž než po kotník, Belgičanky si k takovému kabátu, jaký já mám na fotce, klidně vezmou balerínky. Samozřejmě bez ponožek. Nechápu. A pro změnu v létě lze často vidět letní šaty s kozačkami. Na holých nohách. Tak to už vůbec nechápu. Asi se jim nepotí nohy.

No nic. Protože z výše uvedených důvodů se vlastně nikam nevypravuji a byt opouštím pouze za ůčelem pořízení nutného proviantu (a krátkých zdravotních procházek, aby se neřeklo), vžydcky na sebe akorát něco hodím a jdu. Ale aby jste si nemyslely (i), že na vás nemyslím, tak jsem vyfotila alespoň ten “nakupovací” (proto ta taška) outfit. Není to nic extra, ale šedá a fialová a hlavně lila patří mezi mé oblíbené kombinace barev.

Somehow I haven't managed to take photos during last weeks. First - I didn't have time to make photos since the winter began and days are shorter as I was usually running late for work (internsip) while the daylight was still weak and afternoon, when I was getting home it was already gone. And now there is the exam period and I am staying home all day long in order to learn something. Besides that the weather is cold. It is really strange  – 3 °C under the the zero in Brussels are as same cold as – 10 °C in Prague. It should be caused by the higher humidity of air - the tax for the seaside location. But Belgians are used to their winters. It is true that they are almost scared when I tell them it is normal to have more than – 10 °C in my country. On the other site - it is true that when I am covering myself with coat and don't wear any shoes which end below my ankle, Belgian girls are wearing ballerinas - with the similar coat I am wearing on the picture. Without socks off course. I don't get it. And in the summer you can see girls in dresses and boots. Also without socks or anything similar. This I don't get at all. Their feet don't sweat probably.
Anyway as  I almost don't leave my flat I don't dress up much. Just when I have to buy some food (or make a short health walks) I take the first clothes and go. But I don't want you to think I don't care about you, so I made at least the picture of another "shopping" outfit. It is not anything extra, but the combination of grey and lilac is my favorite.

Pěkný den všem!

Jak vidíte, udělala jsem dvě změny :)

Za prvé: konečně mohu psát i česky - z nějakého důvodu mi totiž nešla přepnout klávesnice. Ono by to asi bývalo šlo vyřešit, ale když to nejde na první kliknutí, znáte to... No každopádně doufám, že tuto změnu oceníte. 

Druhou změnou jsou větší obrázky, protože už mi jejich absence byla párkrát vytknuta, tak doufám, že to někoho potěší :)

Tak a k dnešnímu příspěvku - v tomto outfitu jsem vyrazila nakupovat na trh. V takovém případě jsou tenisky nezbytností. A zdá se, že díky klobouku na mě na každém metru maročtí (většinou) trhovci nepokřikovali "Bonjour Mademoiselle". Nebo to bylo díky počasí? Kdo ví. Každopádně já se cítila příjemně "schovaná" :)

So...I have done two changes. 

First: as you can see I started to post in Czech as well. Till now I couldn't as I didn't manage to switch my keyboard. It could be done earlier I think, but you know - if you don't manage to do it for the first try... Anyway  I hope my Czech readers will appreciate this change.

For the second change - I also posted larger pictures, as some readers have pointed their absence as a weakness of my posts, thus I hope it will makes you happy :)

Regarding today's outfit - I went in this outfit to shop at the market where the sneakers are necessary. And it seem that thanks to the hat I received less "Bonjour Mademoiselle" from the (mostly) Moroccan marketers. Or should  I thank the weather? Anyway I felt comfortably "hidden":)

So this time something easy - one of the combinations I like to wear for running around - this time shopping at the market. I am quite surprised as it seems that those trousers makes my legs look shorter.. not that they are long...Anyway doesn't matter this is what  I am :) and we had fun making these pictures with my friend Justyna, which is more important :)

How to Wear an Oversized Shirt?

Did you ever got something like this? An oversized formless shirt which you didn't want to throw out even though you have no idea where, when and how to wear it? Well I hope that following pictures will give you some idea!

First - roll up the sleeves and get some belt and tights. Second - add accessories. Third - chose shoes. Here I wore wide belt and ballerinas...

... but  it can look good with the heels too...

... or with the poncho.

Hello ladies!

Today is Friday! Yay! So lets check some casual (relaxed) office suitable clothes :) This was one of the blazers which started my blazer obsession. And it was also the love at the first sight (happened with shoes, but never with a person :D ).  It is not a bright color combination, but regarding the time of the year I think it is OK. I have to admit it is also one brand combination, which I am usually trying to avoid, but this combination works together so well.

Hello ladies!

Do you remember the post from the last week, where  I promised you the autumn version of the dress? So here it is! It is more "office autumn" as it is quite cold outside, but still. 

Unfortunately the lighting wasn't good so you can not see the details like the structure of the tights, but still you can get the idea of the outfit. 

I also tried a bit different hairstyle, so I hope you can see it and you like it.

I am just not sure about one thing - whether it does or does not look too summerish? What do you think?

Birds (black & brown)

Hello!

This time something really simple - the birdie dress from Primark! It is has great flattering cut with that kind of skirt you just want to turn around again and again to let it whirl around you.

But this time let me speak more about the accessories - namely the bag. The Bridge bag. To be honest I had no idea about the brand, when I picked it up at the flea market. I just liked its colour, shape and the nice thick leather it is made of. 

If I remember well, the seller wanted 8 EUR for it, but after a while of bargaining I got it for 4,50 EUR. I think it is good price for the leather bag. But how surprised I was when, few months later, I googled the name written on the bag and I found out it is high quality Italian brand and the prices of their handbags start somewhere around 250 EUR!

I was so happy when I found it out, because it felt like finding a treasure. For 4,5 EUR. IT has one scratch, but it is not much see-able  If you want you can check the pictures of other bags here.

White, dark blue, denim & the red double-decker

Hi people!

I think that after several posts with the dresses there is a time for some more casual jeans today. I bought this awesome T-shirt with the London  house, red double-decker and phone booth in one Moroccan shop on the Chaussée d'Ixelles (I will provide you with the exact address in some of the future posts). It was for 3 EUR I think.

It looks good by itself, but I wanted something warmer and this dark blue blazer was an ideal option as you can see the back of the T-shirt too. I also like the combination of the elegant blazer and relaxed jeans. 

And what do you think? Is the bottom part too relaxed, or is it OK?

Hello ladies!

I know I haven't been posting for a long time. But I was at home for few days (jupi!), where I didn't have any time to go online and when I come back I was tired and now sick : -(

But I still have some summer pictures to show you, so don't worry I am back on track or at least back on blog ...

So lets check this great dress I got from my boyfriend's mother :) This dress is really comfortable in the summer as it is made from light and breathable material.

Hello everybody!

Today just short post with my striped dress. I really like this cut, I think it really flattering. Even though I look a bit like a walking Belgian or German flag...It is because this was the last peace in my size and I just could not let this awesome dress leave in the shop. 

BTW for those girls with similar body shape - did you notice, how important is the belt, as it draws the attention to your waist? This would work great for all curvy girls with sand glass or pear body shape!

Hello Girls!

One more picture from the summer! This time again summer dress in the (no dress code) office version ;)

 I like to use blazers over dress, it is so great to just take it off and go to the park wit friends without being too hot.

However I appreciated the blazer a lot in the office, as the temperature there was lower than outside. To avoid inappropriate and  in the office a bit vulgar impression (the neckline is quite deep) I wore also the light grey scarf.
But for the party or running outside in the hot weather this peace of clothes is OK, I think.
